Second Verse, same as the first

Little bit louder, a lot bit worse

I've been out enjoying some adult beverages, so instead of trying to write up a nice TR, I'll just let teh video do the talking.

Crazy thing is your last run, the Insane Mob isn't very bad at all. Must've been early AM still.

So, they must have opened Ober Chute? The first part of the video didn't look like anything that I saw available on Sunday and Monday. Oh, and here's another story...

In the lodge I ran into a couple of ladies that had injuries from skiing. One had a broken leg and the other had a broken front tooth!! Now, I can't figure out how you break a front tooth skiing and have no other damage to your face?!??!?

They opened the Chute and Lower Bear yesterday. To tell the truth, I would rather not have Ober Chute open... I like getting right off the lift onto MR. But I guess thats just me.

And yeah TD, that run was early on, just after they turned the guns off. By the time I left around 3 its was 10x worse.

Great TR. The music at the end perfectly matched the pinball-like insanity of the beginners area. As far as Ober Chute, being able to hit that wall as a step up is my second favorite feature of OGs behind MR. Its also nice not having to navigate the masses that form when its midstation unloading.

Thanks, and you're right: that wall can be fun, when there isn't a mob a people standing right there in the way.

MR was empty pretty much all day yesterday besides myself and a couple other pass holders/ employees. Having Ober Chute open does cut back on the "hero factor" a bit. If someone who is on the snow for the first time cannot make it down the Chute, they are more likely to not even try MR, whereas getting off at the midstation they ski right on over and precede to yardsale/ entertain the lit as they tumble down.

I skied Ober on Wednesday, Dec. 30th. I thought that Ober Chute needed another 20 inches of snow on it. There was a decent bare spot about half way down. The first 60-70 feet of mogul ridge was a sheet of ice from where all the snow boarders had scraped what snow was there off. The rest of MR was fine. Bear run was a little icy at the bend, I saw a BUNCH of folks losing it in that area. All in all, a good day- the Red Lift looked insane at noon. I never waited more than three minutes for the blue lift all day!
