It was snowing so hard both days, I didn't bring my camera. All I can say is natural powder was everywhere! It was tough to take, but I managed!!
Stealthboarder did a great job showing the place last year. Check out those pictures.
They didn't groom deception, center stage, hollywood, or the other tree runs so they were very challenging! I took my 3 sons...had a great time.
Maybe I'll do a better TR next time we go. I've got 4 "general admission" tickets left that I have to use by the end of the season.
I guess I could explain that a little...their lift ticket, called a general admission ticket, is good for 8 hours on the snow. It's time stamped, so when ever you get there, you get 8 hours. No session times, just an opening and closing time for the resort. Also, their ticket is good for skiing/boarding and tubing. No need to buy a separate ticket if you want to tube. You can switch back and forth if you get tired legs! This year is the first time I tubed any and it was OK I guess. We went over to the tubing lanes toward the end of our 8 hour session and did it a couple of times.
The lift operators will look at your ticket and if you are still out there when your time expires they will punch a hole in your ticket. That means this is your last run! You better take a trail that leads to the lodge or you will be walking a long way!!
Great place, but byob! They sell no beer or alcohol on site.
