The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Taking a lunch break... skiing at Snowshoe today is a-o.k. A little ice in the steep stuff, but ample fluff to play in along the edges near the trees.

Weather coming... joy.

Maybe we won't leave until Monday.

I just got back from the Shoe last night. Luckily, we were leaving on the 28th .. the power went out around 8:30am that morning and was still out when we left at 10:30am. Having to use the facilities in the dark is always an interesting experience ..

Any word on what caused the outage?

No word on Power outage...

Today was stellar. Plenty of snow, Shay's and Cupp Run were fantastic this morning. Among one of the best days I have had on skis in recent memory.

Leaving Sunday, as scheduled, but would prefer to stay. Oh well.

Still snowing as of 9:39 Saturday night. Sunday should be stellar.

Hated to leave on Sunday... it was -7, but hey, who cares? Next time I go to snowshoe, I plan on staying a lot longer.
