most of you already know what snowshoe looks like and you don't need more pics so i'll try something different. my highlights:
absolutely fantastic conditions, no sign of the rain last week. go while you can
snow fell all day - quickly tracked out - as fast as I could - nearly perfect ski day.
even sawmill glades was tracked out
basin side too crowded - numerous collisions observed. long lines on soaring eagle.
western side no crowds - ski on lift all day
:>) shays revenge is in great shape. cupp run, camp9, sawmill, widowmaker all good.
grabhammer and skipjack too tracked out and icey. gave up on the basin and went back to western side.
groomed but new bumps forming on anything steepish
racked up about 16200 vertical feet. fun.
easy drive home today, 39/92/64/220/58/86 - no problems
