The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

So my brother and I left Copper mountain Fri for Goergetown where I had reserved a condo style room at a motel there -- Kitchen, balcony, tons of room. That was all because the trip was planned around another friend joining us who unfortunately bailed. I was only obligated for that room one night and we considered ditching to Idaho Spr but felt bad to leave them hanging -- we stayed and felt like kings

Next morning was Loveland--

Low crowds and fast groomers--

Conditions were definately thin and crusty up high--a LOT of slide activity, some pics showing that and general conditions--

One of my drops off the ridge was skiers left of this one (none of my runs from the top were much fun)--

I kept trying to get my Brother into some trees all weekend but he would have none of it , still I got him on the edge of some--

I found a great tree run--

and some others--

And I ended up in some crap as well--

But it was good times in poor conditions overall. We had a mellow close to the day; meeting up at e-tow cabin and then making some relaxed runs--

ending in the BEST in-bounds ski bar in the world--

Our last night we moved into a cheaper room, which was still great and probably more befitting our ilk--

Got rid of my A'basin 4-pack in the lobby to two heavily tatted and pierced snowboard chicks; a family, just checking in, was staring in open dismay at this unexpected procedure

Great time with my brother: "nothings better then blood on blood" I'll close with some art--

Next morning Mike dropped me off in Frasor on his way back to Dalles. I went on to WP/MJ

From your second slide picture- I saw both of those go.... I can't believe how big the one on the right was, and it was remotely triggered (from blasting the one on the left).
