Rather than having 10 different TR threads, lets just let everyone contribute their pictures and stories to one.

I got up around 5 am this morning after driving to southern WV as a staging point. Painless drive to Beech, to what was turning into a beautiful day. Met all sorts of scoundrels, scum, and villainy in the parking lot- MBlacky, Mellow Yellow, bfeller, jbc28, SkiCop, jeffryc, 2slik, stealthboarder, and other miscreants. Except skipink- I feel bad calling her a scoundrel :D

Beech was looking good:

No idea who these people are. Nice fartbags tho:

Today was AWESOME. But that is going to be a separate TR coming later.

After said awesomeness, parking lot congregation occurred.

So great to see everyone again. Big thanks to Mike Doble a.k.a. adm1n for getting this coordinated, and thanks to Beech for the discounts. Hope to see just as many at Snowshoe in two weeks...

That's why we left. We waited 30min + in the singles line. The other lines were even longer. Even the Oz lift was about a 10 min wait.

That's just insane, I can't imagine anyone that was there paying full price being happy about that.

I wouldn't have been, but the way I see it, we got our money's worth being there early and getting our runs in before it got really bad. I wouldn't have been there if I had to pay full price.

I nailed a bunch of runs. Ran White Lightning until the line got long - then ran Oz until 3:30. They were'nt coordinating the line at OZ very well in the morning. By the afternoon they had another guy in place and he started loading the chairs. The lift lines waits passed quickly while chatting with the rest of the SkiNC crew.
