headed up to ober last night after work. roads were clear all the way to the top after the 6 inches of snow they received yesterday. crowd was down compared to the last 2 thursday nights. i was even able to park @ the top. only a 1 or 2 chair wait at the bottom quad. conditons were good with a little powder on top of the hard packed snow. things started to ice up a little as we left out around 10, but no where near as bad as last week. another great night on the mtn.

Ober looks nice this year. I went a few times last yr and it was so icy it really wasn't worth it. It sucks I haven't had a chance to get up there this year. We usually visit Gattlinburg a couple times in the winter. With HWY 40 blocked off it would take forever to get there.
