So I actually did some skiing in CO, and actually took a few pics. The plan was to do a big TR at the end, so here's what we got from the first few days:
Day 1: Loveland
Snow wasn't bad, actually really nice in spots- untracked wind-loaded pow.
Getting heavy near the end of the day:
Wha...the mysterious EC photographer gets photographed herself?!
Then I ran into Max Gosey e.g. DeepDays of TGR infamy, as well as TGR peeps Nick>Jesus and others. Not sure who this guy was, but went for a pretty ballsy line:
More of the posse:
Gosey in flight:
Here is the zone that got shredded:
Here is a crop of one of my lines, standard and not-very-gnar by TGR standards, but I was happy to ski it clean and not take a huge digger:
The drive to Monarch through Hoosier pass and then into the Collegiate Peaks is stunning. Not sure which one this is, maybe Princeton or Harvard?
Only one pic from Monarch. Snow was heavy, but decent in spots:
Finally, Mt. CB is gnarls. This is pretty much all inbounds:
The end. Hoped for more, but broke myself. Fin!
