Much fun and adventures. The temps were a little too high and the snow was soft pretty quickly but the slopes were in remarkably good shape with plenty of coverage for this late in the year.

good snow, good sun, good people, good work, good way to end their season, thanks beech.
the snow was really remarkable, deep enough to play off the sides of the slopes. star was again my favorite today, hard crust in the morning and soft bumps in the afternoon, and always empty.

Nice TR and great pics.
Thanks for posting and letting the rest of us how things went up at Beech today. Wish I could have been there, spent the day doing yard work (70+ degrees in ATL) with the wife and studying for two midterm exams coming up Monday. Hopefully I can get in one last day of spring skiing at Cat next weekend

You are quick on the draw Pink -- I'll tack my TR on here too --Great closing day
So closing day at beech turned into a mini-summit
Pagamony an I carpooled down and arrived to a sparse parking lot where MBlacky, SkiSE'sAndrea, Skizer,Dee, and buddy were already ensconced
Snow was wet and heavy but plenty thick (and only $20)
Bultaco was too slow so Skipink lapped him
Almost every run there was someone who'd shout out to you -- we were everywhere
Pagamony ignoring the traffic signs -- I think Beech should ban this guy for the rest of the season
Increasing slush....
and heightened expectation for the upcoming pond skimming event led most folks in for a break to drink the very end of this seasons beer stock -- and I mean to the last can
Nice to see and say thanks to Rhyno on their closing day of a great season
I think these guys may be commiserating over the mountains last bud light
Pond skimming ensued it was awesome and then a few last runs -- Skiwryter got one of me that I'll insert:
Great day until Pagamony and I returned to Graham to discover his car had been towed by the craphounds who own the empty lot in front of the old Winn-Dixie.
The next hour was an expensive tour of the counties more sketchy regions -- Welcome to Alamance!! (and I'm sorry about that dave)
Other then that a great day
And the end of my first 20-day season (yes Liberty counts, I want to get out front and suggest it for next years summit

david, I was trying to blot out the memory of that car towing experience, what a load of ()*&##@. otherwise, a fine day and the carpool works.
