Colorado Trip April 2010

Last minute trip out to Colorado. We snowboarded/skied three days out of four. Woke up near Denver Airport and met up with Dave who hooked us up with free coupons (Thanks Dave!). Went to Breeze Ski and rented our gears and drove up to the mountains. We ended up hitting A-Basin our first day. Boy, were we out of breath from the altitude! It was a partly sunny day, great conditions.

Second day we hit Loveland. Crazy snow. It kept snowing all throughout the day. It was crazy windy at the top (~10 yard visibility), so we pretty much stayed on Lift 2 instead of Lift 9. Fun times. Lots of snow everywhere.

Third day, Copper Mtn. Nice weather. I wasn't as impressed with the terrain there. All the runs we hit were groomed out and some even Ice-Coast condition. The view, on the other hand, were phenom. It was unreal.

I don't think I can describe how awesome the experience was. I wish I could go there every season! Just incredible.

Anyways, enough chit-chat. Hope you enjoy(ed) the video!

Rly. Well, we did hit Chair 1, 2, 4, 6, and 9. My buddy was having a real hard time skiing in the powder too. Didn't want to stray too far for that reason.

I did hit Over the Rainbow into Zoom one time by myself. Mogul city. Didn't quite expect that. I must have slid 20 yards upside down on my back at the top. It was quite comical.
