Also having a great time in Utah. Mostly spring skiing because it warmed up too fast to keep the fresh powder from Tuesday. Have seen CapAmerica a few times. Marz Jr. learned in her ski school class that soft crud can be a lot of fun. A few pics in the camera but too tired to deal with them. Two more days of skiing for us.
2023-24: Wolf Creek in Dec, Massanutten in Jan, Feb; GT, Big Sky; Crested Butte; Alta/Snowbird in April.

A little complicated to explain, but the short story is that Marz Jr. and I met up with a group at Alta Lodge for a few days of skiing. The trip was set up months ago. Included several kids who did a fair amount of ski school. I hung with the adventurous types for a few runs in the morning. Then did a variety of stuff with a ski buddy who is an expert. Bottom line is that I've been skiing more than the groomers that the intermediate group was doing. Even Marz Jr. was doing moguls today in ski school.
Supreme was the popular area until things softened up on Sugarloaf and Collins. Mostly blue skies, but had a snow shower Fri and thick clouds for a couple hours midday today. Definitely spring skiing and good fun.
Flying into SLC on April 7
People we spent time with on Supreme
** Devil's Castle the morning of April 10 - untracked powder found
Getting around the corner on the traverse to Castle Apron
Friends who did the bootpack (not the trio on the traverse)
Powder below the traverse
Looking up from the traverse, the guys are up there
About ready to track the pow
**
Extrovert was good when soft
Ballroom was already pretty tracked out by Thu morning, the powder dump on Mon-Tue didn't last long because it warmed up fast on Wed - pics taken late afternoon April 10
