Ski Southeast Messageboard

I had to go to NYC for work last week, and I decided to stick around for an extra day to see the main tourist sights. I've been there a handful of times already, but never armed with my trusty Canon 40D. The light is weird in NYC- with all the tall buildings and structures, its tough to get something without a shadow. These came out pretty well anyways.

Which camaera did you use for these shots?

Canon 40D, and most of them (if not all, I think) were taken with my Sigma 18-125 lens.

I grew up in NYC. Wouldn't live there now, but do enjoy visiting, especially in blue sky weather.

I've been in NYC all week.....actually been up here a lot this year and last.



Nice place to visit once in a while, but i'm tired of it.

I bet somebody will be looking for a TS lens soon.....to get rid of those leaning buildings.

I don't even know what the F a tilt-shift lens does... so no, I won't be buying one anytime soon.



My next purchase will be a set of ND filters. (just bought a tripod)
