Hello SkiSE folks. Great website. Long time lurker, first time poster.



The link below goes to a thread at epicski.com where I posted a bunch of photos documenting great conditions at Blue Knob, PA in February of 2010. If you live in the Southeast/mid-Atlantic US and have never visited Blue Knob in southwestern PA maybe these images will inspire you to check it out next season. It's probably on the far edge of your radar screen, but the varied terrain is especially fun when Mother Nature cooperates as she did this past February, perhaps even justifying a seven hour drive from NC for a long weekend.:rolleyes:

PPS: got to offer respectful props to those NC ski areas that lately are always among the first in the East to open each season.

PPS: got to offer respectful props to those NC ski areas that lately are always among the first in the East to open each season.How far from Timberline is that?I live in Charlotte and it takes at least 7 hours to get to TL,I,m fairly sure it would take around 9 hours to get to Blue Knob.

Looks like your having fun skying.. I would love to ski in Whistler Peak..more power you guys..
