This is our logo, created for us by an artist friend.

Aaand we're walking...

Camp

There were puppes...

And there were..."puppies" :)

I'm being interviewed by 11 Alive News. After 18 miles of walking, I hope none of you saw that!

Tom Foolery along the way!

But, of course!

No commentary needed...;)

Closing it out at Turner Field: All the walkers who are BC survivors are saluted by the rest of us raising our shoes as they walked by...Powerful!

You just don't see a camp like that everyday. Good job. My mom beat breast cancer and got many good years.

Davidski, I'm happy to hear that you mom is a survivor! 6.1 million was raised in the Atlanta walk and since someone last year wondered how the money was used, I did some homework. It goes toward research grants, and also to fund mammograms or treatment for women in need. Good stuff!

The nice thing about Komen events is that they keep a large percentage of the money raised within that community. Much of the money raised here goes to the medical school for research and lots more for education in this area.
