Got there at 8:30, the guns were still going full force and had obviously been laying it down all through the night. Based on what I had seen from the webcam on Sat and what they now had for coverage, the improvements to their system this summer were huge. What was open was in mid season form and they turned em off around 11am. Weather was great, lines were never awful, {got close though} and the day was a blast.

The ridge across the way still holding some natural

Requisite camo sighting

The focus of much "debate"

The results of such villainy

It was an incredible opening weekend and all this "debate" needs to go away. The bottom line is Cat really tried to provide everyone with a fun time EARLY in November, but there are always issues with opening this early.

And yes, the downstairs bathroom was clean.

Thanks for finally giving us some pics of the early season awesomeness at the Cat. I was getting a little sad that Sugar was getting so much love and that Cat was all left out :)

Is that ridge on private land?

I think so. I believe the ranch owns most of the land up there.

That spot looks to have a lot of poaching potential though.

Last year after the two foot storm, there were a bunch of tracks up there. I talked to one of the patrollers about it and she said she had seen some people up there earlier.
