Warning this is a family skiing vacation. No ripping in this video. But it was a great time anyway. When the girls grow up and no longer want to spend time with dad, I can go rip all I want. Until then, I will enjoy these moments.

Enjoy it for what it is. Not what you want it to be.

Knoxskier,

AWESOME! Those pic/videos are great and will become treasures for you over time. What a great thing to see a fanmily having so much fun together!!

We too have been taking family trips with our kids over new years for @ 10 years. Often we've taken those trips with 5 or 6 other families as well. These memories and good times will be cherished forever! We've spent New Years in Steamboat, Copper, Targhee (many times) and will be in OOTAH skiing the Cottonwoods this upcoming New Year.

Enjoy these times when they are small and you guys can all hang together...but don't worry, as they get bigger they will be able to go wherever you go! My 19 year-old daughter will still ski with me anywhere on any mountain. She has skied double blacks with me and is typically hootin' and hollerin' the whole time...no fear. My 16 year-old son (6'4" 180lb man-child) went over to the dark side when he was young so we don't ride together as much as his sister and I...(which is good because he would wear my 46 year-old butt out!:D) but he will still do some exploring with me from time to time.

There is no better family time that time on the mountain!:>)

This is great. My wife and I are expecting our first child in May 2011, and I have a feeling its gonna be a girl. Its good to see family time like this and how you are looking at it. I hope when my time comes they will love skiing as much as I.

Enjoy those moments, I know I will as soon as he/she is able to strap on a pair of skis.

This will be the first time in three years that we have not done new years out west. Big family trip will be big sky over spring break with several friends. Going up to snowshoe for new years this time - I am sure it will be a good time but definitely not the same.

Latest issue of Ski magazine has a series of articles on introducing kids to skiing. Good prep reading for your near future. Congrats on the soon to be new member of the family. Of all the parent advice I got one thing was most true...they grow up in a hurry, enjoy it while you can.

Looks good. Very similar to ours. Looks like everyone had a good time. We have been to Utah twice now but didn't spend anytime down in slc.
