I was headed down to Hickory Tuesday night, and I was jonesin' hard for some afterwork skiing. I got to the turn for app ski mtn and figured what the hell. Kinda bummed that the gold card doesn't get free parking, but 1 dollar isnt much, plus i had a bunch of dimes. The runs were well groomed and the coverage was excellent. There was even a nice powder stash through the trees down skier's right of the main run. If you like random kickers all over the mountain, they've got you covered. And park rats, they are the only ones in business with a respectable park right now. Looked great. I made some turns and I was happy.
I would love to be able to make that decision as I was driving down the world.
