Another great bluebird day. Windy and chilly in the morning but warmed up throughout the day. Early morning powder pockets but the wind had definitely taken a toll as it was crusted over in a lot of spots. White Lightning was teasing me all day. All freakin day. I'll have to wait til Friday to ride it. Hopefully the wintry mix/rain won't do a number on it.

A little video. Make sure to choose 720p.

I love parking at town hall and walking through the woods to Meadows. Can strap right up and get a half run in without riding the lift.

I have a feeling they're gonna rope the woods off after seeing this.

The roads weren't actually that bad. A little sketchy in a few spots but a 2 wheel drive might, MIGHT have made it up in the morning. By the afternoon it was clear sailing.

I've been in those glades and they are pretty awesome. If Beech would do a little selective thinning, like Cat did but maybe even less, then that would be an amazing part of the mountain. It's an easy way to up their skiable terrain without having to buy more land or cut a whole new trail.

Nice vid. I had to hit a few tree runs yesterday too, I couldn't stand not to! Next time I'm gonna have to change out of my bright jacket before I venture into the woods. lol.
