Slope: front yard coulier and street

Conditions: frozen granular with powder stashes

A rare treat became available this morning that I had to sample. Yesterday's snow was too wet and thin, but the hard freeze overnight meant that conditions were right for poaching. The final runs were made with some acrobatic hopping across deadly street patches. Fortunately, crowds were light.

View from the top: the preferred route is to gain speed in the coulier and swing around the manhole cover back to the powder stashes on the far right of the slope.

View from the bottom: melt-out patches showing their teeth.
