This place really has gone to hell, great stoke from Taos, WV always off the hook with BB, my stuff and others
Hundreds of views, hands full of posts; as people in PMs have said to me, ain't really worth it no more
Colorado passed a law you know, thank goodness, and the chips will continue to fall. Soon, whether you partake or not, we may all agree that locking people up for the use of pot was only good for people who own stock in the prison industry, it's going to seem as absurd as prohibition; documentaries and perhaps even HBO series will be made --Redwood Empire.
----
Personally I have no stake, I drink but don't smoke nowadays, although I think alcohol causes greater harm. Anyway, the dispensaries in colorado are a virtual guerilla artform of independent storefront graphics and marketing -- I wish I had taken more pictures before it all becomes co-opted.
Sergeant Greenleaf in Georgetown had a great storefront, but the one I finally stopped at after looking at each time I was going across Berthoud Pass, was the Serene Wellness Center in Empire, across from the Original Hard Rock Cafe (great breakfast)
Without showing pictures of the cornucopia arrayed inside which might test the limits of the moderators, let me post their storefront image
What I discovered when I went in was that you wait your turn in a very calmly appointed lobby and then are allowed into the retail area.... then it's like a liquor store but with a helpful stoned lady who will say, for example, "well, everybody likes Mr. Nice" (who could deny that)...
It was a unique experience to see bud sold like Patron, I should have taken her up on Mr. Nice, god knows I could use it
