Ski Southeast Messageboard

Went to Ober. it was warm & slushy. Drank beer in the parking lot. Skied some. My buddy is a good photographer. I shamelessly photo****ted it up on Mogul Ridge, and then shamelessly stole the pics he posted on his website.















It was a good day.

You may be a photowhore, but you look like one of those high end ones. So, you got that going for you.

Ummm, I was there on Sunday. I was on the red lift with the boys until about 4:00 though. If I had known you were there I'd have at least made a couple of runs with the rockstars.

Well, hell. I had no idea you were up there, I was lapping Mogul from 9-4, I never saw you... shout at a brotha next time you head this way.

we went up last night and most of the moguls on mogul rdg were gone compared to last week. snow was really pretty good considering the temps. i noticed going up the lift on alpine way that they had removed the 3 ingersollrand air compressors connected to that huge air manifold....no more snow making???

This messageboard is a wonderful thing. People sometimes tell other people they may or may not know that they'll be at (mountain name) on (insert date here). Then, said people meet up and fun times ensue.



Just think what happened before the interweb was invented by Al Gore (with assistance from TeleDave)?

Hmmm I was there all day last Saturday and Sunday mainly lapping Mogul Ridge. I had a light blue Backcountry pullover, grey helmet and Line Blends which have some orange in them. I kind of think I saw Zeus in the green jacket.



Anyway, I'll be doing a quick trip up the weekend of the 26th-27th of Feb from Dirtyham with a friend to night ski at Cat, stay at the Rodeway Inn on Sat Night in Pigeon Forge for $40 and then Ober all day Sunday from 9-4. I'll likely have the same stuff on. Holler at me! I have never met a single person on the board.

Now you just need to learn how to dress in glowing colors to really be the photo@lut

Those were rental units that are used to get open and then go back at the end of Jan.. Ober still has their own compressors, plus most of the fan guns have their own compressors. The equipment is not a comcern, the lack of cold air is.
