Met up with Skywriter and Skipink at Beech. They got good runs first thing but it slushed up early. Piles of fresh snow turned into glue. Blue skies were great for spectating the pond skim and enjoying the Harris Brothers play on the View Haus deck.

Ready for the pond skim

The first skimmer punched a hole, so the water drained out for the later folks

Hard to get up enough speed

Nice marz... hate that the skimming was muffed. Wish you had pics of Jam's attempt... or was there one? I haven't asked him directly. Did others from the board give it a shot?

Last year a guy flipped upon exiting the pond and landed on his neck. Luckily, he got up and skied away. Any of that this year?
