So after a night of liquid debauchery and morning of first tracks with the hardcore skisoutheasters, I headed to the Rimfire for a little nap. I arose around 2pm to find that the snow was coming down in abundance and sticking to everything... "what rain?!" I immediately had a beer and a little food because it was time to seek out the fresh...

Remember how bare Ballhooter was?

What about the drop...?

You know side hits are like crack to me...

Lots of visible fresh as hardly anyone was on the mountain from 3-4:30. Trackin' it out...

I had to check the park and as I expected, it was not groomed and a little bumpy.

This little hottie looks crazy familiar, so I had to step...

Time to fuel up for the Silver Creek night sesh........

It was snowing again...

Not a hard spot to be found at the Creek.

Except maybe a rail or 300...

I had been crushing the park with the boys and Monday was going to be sunny, so I didn't hit one feature except the jumps through which I had to ride in order to reach the lift... this was a first for me at SC, btw... pow and no park riding...

There were easily 2 feet drifts along the side.

Gape fabulous.

Promise I'm in this pic... sorry if the snow is getting in the way, lol...

Maybe this one is a little better...........?

Silver Creek was an absolute blast. Jen got her first [snowboarding] pow experience and was as giddy as anyone would be, probably more. I was amazed at how much fluff was out there to be honest.

On the shuttle ride back to Rimfire, nothing could keep my mind from thinking about how epic Monday was going to be. We'll pick up there in another TR...................

Silver Creek was epic Sunday night, that was my first pow ride as well! Mountaineer was completely dead and with the pow it finally gave me the nerve hit that middle jump i had been eyeing all weekend. Dracan6 and Josh27292 were getting crazy with it too. The pow made me feel like i was 10 again, was an awesome night!:>)

Congrats! Smart move to stick around.. Looking in the crystal ball do I see a repeating weather pattern for this Thur/Fri ???Finger's crossed that WVa still has more to deliver in the next few weeks.

Was talking to Tom about getting up with you and was hoping you'd be around at some point, especially after a little dump. But, of course, work prevails...

I would be down for getting back up there if we could swing cheap accommodations... roll in Friday night and leave Sunday afternoon, maybe...

Is that why none of the summit goers want to post in this thread? :(
