Made the annual family pilgrimage out to the land of Mormons 2nd week in March. Not sure if I'm liking the Canyons more or just getting lazy in my old age but only made one side trip to Snowbasin. The rest of the crew managed another side trip to Park City but it being our only powder day myself and the two oldest opted to stay at the Canyons.

The new bubble, doesn't do well in the wind. Closed on our last Saturday, the gondola line was an hour

Wednesday night it poured and then turned into 8" of snow. Froze every lift on the mountain, but delayed openings gave us some first tracks around the mountain. Of course first tracks on 9990 included huge icebergs under the fresh snow. Found trees off of Tombstone and Peak 5 to be the best.

Happy to be on the bubble after a 30 minute line (gondola was iced up)

On to Snowbasin

The gang

Cornice on top of Strawberry

Waiting for everyone, a couple minutes later my daughter would be taken out by a midwesterner who admitted to not looking where he was going, needless to say dad was pissed.

Outside the gates found some nice snow

Aunt Patti feeling the love on her new Lotta Luv's

The rest of the gang

Great Trip and got three more days coming up in April.
