Very very nice! I love that first dinner.
Extremely jealous you got to do this. Are you gonna miss being able to hike terrain like this, let alone 14er's? Anticipating the 2nd half of the TR.

Very cool... I've hiked up to the Chicago Lakes a couple of times with the dogs (from Echo Lake) but I've never thought to go all the way up to Mt. Evans. The area with the lakes is beautiful in the fall.
Besides, why walk all that way when you can just drive up to the top?

Absolutely Awesome!!! Looks like you had a great time and accomplished a lofty goal. I'm still suprised you didn't have a climbing partner. Hopefully we'll see more TR's like this in the future.
