First tracks this morning at Wintergreen had about an inch of fresh snow on top of the freshly groomed slopes and about a total of 10 people present on the entire trail system.

Then is started dumping . Here is a pic of two groms for life 3 1/2 hrs later after getting free refills and lapfulls of snow on every lift ride back up . We couldn't believe how good the turns got as the day progressed. The video is from about 1 PM .It was still coming down pretty good when we left at 5.

I'm glad somebody got the goods! Seems that work has been killing my powder days this season! Had to be in Richmond yesterday, so glad that the snow stayed on the hill. Only a few flurries in the morning, then a nice rainy drive back to Raleigh.

The next day (Wednesday) was primo. Fresh snow, sun and light crowds. It was really nice.
