The Augille du Midi which takes you to the Vallee Blanche off piste area. You need a guide for this area, and the guide must assess your skiing ability before taking you to this area when the snow is deep.

Wow -- Aguille du Midi (sp?). Great move, an ultimate destination



I'm confused about the hike down -- does the tram take you to the point and then you work down some distance?



This is amazing stuff, I don't know how good a skier you are, but pretty damn good, and some of those chutes must have still been out there.





And the crevasses, basically it's like easy death

The hike down accesses the Valle Blanche -- so I've read. I Will Ski the Valle Blanche one day. 9k vert on a 14 mile run= amazing.
