Thanks to the weather report calling for big surf later this week and weekend I decided to go skiing today, and probably instead of this weekend at Snowshoe. I hate to miss the Summit, but we just don't get big surf very often on the east coast. Sorry no pics of the slopes, and there was nothing worthy of pictures since my last trip until I was climbing out over Timberline and got an incredible view of Seneca rocks in the late afternoon. Sorry for the poor quality, all I had was my camera phone, which was a mistake. The pictures definitely don't do justice to how cool they looked. As for Timberline they have the slope open that normally has their second terrain park with big jumps but there were no jumps, bummer. The sun was out all day and it was warm and it still took til about noon for them to open Off the wall, their only mogul run. It was soft for about an hour and a half after they opened it and definitely worth the trip. Even with their slow chairlift I can still get a pretty good workout.
