I had some really fun runs the other day at Cataloochee.

I documented my favorite coffee shop on the way up... a little cheesy...... and the abbreviated ride up the mountain.. then about 3 runs.

It was really a great time up there. Grab it while you can. The long term weather says don't wait!

At the end of the day grab a beer from my pal Judy B. at the Cat bar. She's a hell of a skier.

David, while you are up there this week you should meet up with Chip. You would have loads of fun skiing together.

is chip the original poster? That would be cool but I'm pretty certain I won't even make it out a half day

Yeah, I met him a couple of years ago when I went by myself to Cat(imagine, me talking to someone I didn't know!). I was still nervous about doing steep run and he coached me through it. Great guy.

Yeah man... weekday for zero lines... AND in the weekends now they are opening midstation for loading. No skiing to the bottom!!! Next week days start at 1 p.m. through 10 pm I think... weekday mornings are no more starting Monday.
