The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

The bottom of the presidential range is all tourism and hikers who are very serious in seperating themselves

Mt Washington is amazing, severe, and completely of itself. We drove up and hiked around.

An ugly assumption dawns, that somehow skiing might be associated with this hike .. such unwarranted suspicion

----actually I really want to ski Cannon next year

and Wildcat, and Sunday River, and everywhere I saw except not so much Loon, or Bretton wood

Obscure fact, I had never met Rob before we met up to go to Tuckerman's

Plans for 2015: To ski more than you

The tuckerman ravine trail looked exhausting w/out having to posthole w/ equipment.

It would be a fun trip but I really would like to hit Wildcat too, as I believe TD did

I have a skiing buddy in Boston so Mt Washington is on the list fer sure. The NH places really lack snow compared to VT but do have good snowmaking. I made the fatal mistake of wasting a day at Bretton Woods once because I had a free ticket. I spent the whole day trying to figure out where the fall line was without success. That may partly be because it was like 68 degrees that day.

That is cool that TD went up there with EC who he had never met before.
