The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

So there's this popular ski resort...

...that hosted the 2012 US Cycling MTB Gravity Nationals...

...Which consisted of dual slalom racing...

...And of course Downhill racing.

It was awesome to watch women's classes run...

...even when they're only 9 years old..

...and when they're nicknamed Malibu Barbie (complete with makeup & hot pink bike. see far left).

SkiNC was well-represented...

(even when they didn't know they were representing)...

and visions of snow danced in our heads (it's 1 of 2 NEW!).

Found a well-located place to stay...

(3 houses off the Shawnee Lift)

(but had a visitor in the room)...ew!

I did a little bit of chaperoning...

I finally geared up for the coming season...

...and got to meet Party Steve...

...and now ODB can't complain about me not being pictured in a TR.

Nice TR, mommeh, despite it being imPOVerished. Pink siting!

I see you went the way of the TBT with the Funkink. That should be a good board for you to get started. The soft flex will be forgiving and that base can take a good bashing. Bataleons are good boards and it should last you a while...

Great time was had by all! There's 6, yes, count them 6 new polecats! One new deck in front of the Beechtree Grille and painting on all the lifts - houses are brown, poles painted black. Counting the days until I hear those babies turned on!

ohhhhh polecats have something to do with skiing. I thought it had something to do with a new gentlemen's club on Beech.

Nice picks mommeh. Pleasure putting a face with a name.

I noticed a cell tower on one of the webcams I think from Pinnacle Inn that I hadn't notice before.
