Hit the Quarry close to my home that has been turned into a dive park. $15 gets u in and what u do is up to you. BFeller and I went for a Group treasure hunt dive with about 75 people from our dive shop. Pig Pickin, Lots of free swag
and a warm day to dive the Quarry.
Brett got some defective dive gloves in his draw of the pirate loot.....Turned out to be coozies...who knew
Water temp was upper 70s to mid 80s, so a very nice dive.
We got there early and cruised down about 40 feet or so and found our Pirate Booty for the treasure hunt early, then spent the rest of the dives trying out just how boyant a empty tank gets. Dialing in weights for bretts new tanks and effin off in the plane or Bus at about 35 ft. Shot the #8 bowling ball into the basketball goal around 20 ft deep. Big *** bass in there.

Hit the Quarry up at Lake Norman on Labor Day. I have put in 16 dives so far in the last 6 months. Different world down under. Nothing like being all wet
