Finished work early today and headed up to beech around 11. Parked at the town hall and walked across meadows. Rode down, pockets of powder covered with man made. surface was a little slow, but i need to wax my sticks. Got down to the quad and realized they weren't running it. ******. Guy told us they couldnt run the quad due to wind. Sure thing. Highest gust recorded at beech today was 37mph at 12:30am!! I've been on that chair on many windier days. Pretty ticked off, we took a couple sips and contemplated our plan.
Went up to see rhyno, who was in his cozy admin building, but alone so he couldnt help us out. Chewed the fat for a bit and headed for the parking lot where after 20 mins a nice couple from Charlotte who were buying gift cards gave us a ride back up to the town hall. Even after this turn of events enton was still pissed and destroyed a ford explorer with his hands. Guy is crazy when he doesnt take his meds and gets into whiskey collections.
Tomorrow should be good, but im afraid it will be crowded. Still snowing in Foscoe at 3:30pm.
