I decided to get a couple of hours in at Cat tonight before tomorrow's rain arrives. As expected the snow was very soft. It was still 54 degrees when I left a little before 10 pm. Traffic must have been light today because even Lower Omigosh was still in pretty good shape - no huge ruts and piles on the little steep above the merge with Rabbit Hill.
Upper O was very nice:
Looking up...
and down Upper Omigosh
As was Alley Cat:
Alley Cat was closed for Middle School races when I arrived but it opened some time between 8 and 9.
Rock Island was well covered and in good shape:
There were LOTS of pine needles and debris from the trees just below mid-unloading:
And bark, twigs and debris along the edges of Rock Island.
Soft snow and kinda slow tonight, but still very good coverage. At least I can't complain about the icy spots tonight I hope we don't get the up to 2 inches of rain forecast for tomorrow. I hope to head back up Friday to see how things have held up.
