The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Well... another fun one at Cataloochee yesterday the 29th. Got my middle aged *** up there around noon and hit it for a few hours. Captured a couple of runs before sun went in. Snow was soft and really fun. It was a welcome change from the hard and slick of Saturday evening. No lines.. a ski on the lift day! You will see tons of pine needles that integrated into the snow from last Friday's ice storm. Actually they weren't too bad. Didn't seem to slow you down any more than the soft snow on the flatter pitch..... ALSO... who knew you could use RAINX as a wax substitute? Any one else tried that? I talked with a couple of folks who swear by it.

Peace! THINK SNOW TONIGHT!!

Nice! And yeah, lots better than Saturday night. I like firm and fast :D , but Sat. was too firm to plant a pole or get an edge in.
