Captain America Summit supplementary

Great time, great timing, great call. What an ideal weekend to meet up. I did spend less time meeting then skiing this time

Widowmaker when I arrived

And when I left

In between those events was night skiing Friday and meeting some of the crew

I met K2Slope for the first time by literally falling on top of her, K2 was understanding and I am not the culprit who separated her shoulder

Saturday morning there for the Widowmaker drop and met Brookbarrel

and Wakeboarder, we made some great runs a little later on the edge of Widowmaker (me usually a step or two behind)

Brookbarrel and I got distracted in some trees, big and small but generally just poking around the stuff he has discovered

I declined that drop

I ended up exploring on my own and two bad turns became a long nature hike -- but it was pretty

That night was the unofficial pizza party. I've never known if Captain or Admin was the benefactor. The event required serios photography. It was a good evening. Winter's account of his Heli-skiing experience was a highlite to me,

the night did go on for awhile and I missed breakfast. Although Dave knocked on my window early AM with the news of his parking lot catastrophe -- lot of carnage this weekend

Sunday

Pinkie, Bultaco and Baxter late morning

Some runs that Brookbarrel and I revisited

^^ Snowshoe should step up there grooming, talk about death cookies (actually despite appearances it was good through here, some difficulty later)

0006

Monday I didn't drive up to canaan, but things looked good out my window

and I hit what Ken and BB had mentioned

(the little rock cute at the top sucked for me)

and then a mellow finish

And I left, and I wept (on the inside of course) and I consoled myself by driving by some future objectives

Anyone want to buy some lightly used skis?

I'd like to say our trees were better but I have to say this one looks pretty good. we just have to return and compare them back to back.

FYI the pizza benefactor was not at SS resort for the weekend, so not the Captain or Mike. Still a big thank you for helping facilitate the party. :)
