Ski Southeast Messageboard

Was supposed to get out yesterday morning and this morning, but was convinced to sleep in. Made it out tonight after work and was pretty upset i skipped this morning. Snow was excellent, tons of whales out there, full force snowmaking, everything that was open was completely covered. Wouldn't be surprised to see snowmaking efforts move to southern and white lightning soon. Park was in incredible shape, couple rails and boxes up top with a nice 15-20 footer below. Bumped into enton a few times he was keepin things smooth with his rake game. Parked up top by Shawneehaw and the truck had an inch or two of snow in the bed when I left. There was a good number of people out for a Wed night but I never waited for a chair. Took some janky cell phone pictures but it was pretty cold tonight and I was makin really hot laps (12 in 2 hours):

Looks good. I wish I lived close enough to swing by for an evening without it being a huge ordeal

Tons of Snow for the Taking

Also Beech closed at 9pm tonight. It was kinda weak. I was gonna stay all night as i was hitting my stride in the park and then they shut it down at 9. lame. Did score some free beer and food at the employee party at the beech tree though so i guess it was karma.
