16 Adults, 14 children, lots of food and drink, hours of racing and skiing (on the right and wrong skis), banana suits,1 broken wrist and unlimited fun! That's what our Lower Shawnee slopeside house contained this weekend. It was great to see old friends and meet pleanty of new ones. Arrived Friday afternoon and got a few runs in the glow of the afternoon sunset before the festivities began. On Saturday, the snow was good, the crowds were heavy but managable if you used the singles line, so I got lots of runs. Sunday was cloudy in the morning with some fog which seemed to come and go throughout the day and the snow was even better. I'll leave the cool race news to SkiSE.

Racing
Lunch at the Beechtree. The food and the service have improved immensely and the fireplaces add a nice atmosphere.
For those who wonder if Beech has enough snow, this is at the top of White Lightning and Southern Star. Pretty amazing coverage and lots of whales lower down to ensure a long season.
