Hopefully some other people can post pics, I took very few. It was a really good day for me -- conditions went from fast to sloppy but always fun -- runs remained uncrowded until I left around three although the bottom was a crowded scattered mostly sprawling mess. First thing up talked to Mello who was in place for first run. Signed up for Banked Slalom and got nice lifties.

My sons spent the night with us and we got there really early, so great to spend time w/ them -- we don't get many 24 hour stretches together.

Obligatory single run on OZ -- good thing beech built up there base -- they'll need it.

lunch we met up with Kendog (thanks Ken!) and crowd. Several people gathered there,Enton in an epic fartbag, Skipink, OntheMtn and Wanakenatransplant who I met for the time good people as always, hope they felt the same --

---

The boys kept lapping and I enjoyed some extra beverages at the Beer Yurt (thanks again Tim!) they had the umbrella up for the first time-- amazing.

Saw lots of people again Skywryter and Hubby, Yardsale (did you end up winning it all) and some old faces too Bopp and Skizer. I would have stayed longer but the siren song of Sat. night on Franklin was calling the boys home (and I got home went out too and me and wife danced our asses off)

By the way I nailed the retro gear

looking good. is the quad on oz slower or faster than the triple at tline? been a while since i saw oz open, strangely i miss it for no rational reason.

It actually wasn't as slow as I remembered, then again it was an even shorter run then I remember.

Unfortunately there weren't many people on it which is too bad since it's point is largely to spread out traffic

Good times in the high country this weekend!

We took the crew tubing Friday night, then hit beech Saturday afternoon for the party.. It was good to meet some new folks, and see some of the old school again...

Thanks to HardeeGirl for the hookup on lift tickets , and Cheers to Tim and Kendog for the beers! Nice to finally meet you guys! Man it was hard to leave the bar! the sun was shining and so was I..:>)

but I had to get back to my duties of group leader ..lol.. We hit the cabin for a BBQ and some fire pit action , hot smores, and lots of vodka drinks..Finally ended the weekend Sunday tailgating by the river , and checked out Lineville caverns, cool place if you have never been its worth stopping.. good times even with the warm weather can't wait to do it again!
