Did a bit of night skiing at Ober, got to check out the new run (Yeti's Run). Snow was decent, good coverage. Yeti's Run was meh, too narrow and windy. But
everything in the shops at Ober is all Yeti, t-shirt that I should have gotten a picture of "Yeti's Run...Terror at every Turn".
Had the place to ourselves though, which was a good thing since you couldn't see early on. Weird hearing people skiing nearby but not being able to see them.
The pics:
Fogginess
Yeti's Run Pano
The top cleared out at the end of the night

Ok, I guess. 1st race of series last night, 3rd in age group (of 6) less than a second between 2 & 4. I'd say I'm squarely middle of the pack both age group and overall. Overall leader also in my age bracket, he was 4 1/2'ish seconds ahead of me on a 25 second course.
First gates I've run in at least 15 years, maybe 20. No practice whatsoever so I'm okay with those results. It will be time to get in some practice next week. It's not the skis, it's the skier.

Nice report, you're not too proud to ski Ober. I like it. Even a small hill can be fun.
