Ski Sundown - New Hartford, CT

So I had to fly up to Hartford for work on Super Bowl sunday. All kinds of winter storm warnings in effect. The snow starting falling around 11pm Sunday and weather people were calling for 18 inches over the course of Monday.
Here's the lot from my hotel Sunday evening.
and here's what I woke up to.
Easily a 8 to 12 inches of snow and still falling.
I'm here to help train some new hires, and since half of their flights got cancelled and the roads were in bad shape, we cancelled class. It was at this moment I decided I'm taking my Mazda 3 rental car and finding a hill. I set route for Mohawk Mountain. Google decided I should take all highway there. I didn't bother to disagree. About halfway here I realized Mazda traction control doesn't allow the car to drive uphill on a snow covered road. This was becoming a real issue as I literally came to a stop in the middle of the road twice. I opened my map, and thankfully a TGR member suggested Sundown as it is closer to Hartford. I was unintentionally 5 mins from Sundown when I decided I was going there instead.
Nothing to the place really.
The snow was abundant and it didn't stop coming down all day. Refills galore. I had a blast. They had a run called Satans stairway that was really bumped up. Mogul size rivaled most steep Colorado trails, but previous icy conditions lurked on the downhill side of every mogul. I cruised around the hill. There wasn't much to it. But it beat the hell out of training new hires!
I didn't stop much for pics, but here's a few:
My car at the end of the day so you can see how much it snowed:
And here's a raw, rather boring, clip I threw a song on top of. This top to bottom.
