Hit Beech Thursday & Cat Today

As the subject says...
Beech was great - except getting coated with snow from the guns after every run. Hey, I understand though - you have to make snow while you can, and yesterday they were able to blow all day.
Happily, no lift line all day long.
As the skis were already on the Audi, I decided to ski Cat today. Got rock star parking on the way in... and after I parked, they put cones out up and away from my TT. Hmm. That doesn't bode well.
Skied so many runs the lift ticket cost me less than a movie. Good deal. Lots of corduroy and groomed smooth.
Here's something interesting: Beech? $37 all day. Cat? $40.
Oh, and that that did not bode well. I noticed first that it sure was a clean cut group... then when I hit the bar for a Dales Pale Ale (my favorite)... I got it. It was Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. As I was leaving at 2pm ('cause the lift line was starting to stack up after lunch) More vans and buses were coming up the hill.
Hated to lose the great parking space, but then again, I had my fill.
