2015 Ski Southeast Summit at Snowshoe Mountain 2/28 - 3/1

Couldn't have asked for a better weekend. This was by far the best trip I've ever had to Snowshoe. There is so much freaking snow up there right now. The entire mountain is filled in. Driving up Thursday night it was crazy to see walls of snow everywhere on the sides of the road on top of the mountain.
Friday
It snowed a couple inches Thursday night after they had already groomed. A nice layer of fluff was on top. It was nice to get some sprays in for the first several runs. Here's a pano shot.
I rode with my girlfriend for most of the day, but I was able to get out later and find some fun areas.
Finished the day off at Split Rock hot tub.
Saturday
Grooming was immaculate.
Unbelievably gorgeous all day.
The Progression Park was so sick.
Went to Western Territory later in the day. It honestly kind of sucked at that point. A lot of snow had been shaved off and it was icy on the steeps. But the view from Shay's was worth it.
Sunday
First Tracks was cool as hell. Was able to get in 5 laps on Soaring Eagle and then 2 more over on Ballhooter before 9:30.
Here's skipink and my girlfriend.
My girlfriend hadn't ridden in a year but was killing it by the end of the trip.
THAHATTER and his wife.
Was awesome to have the whole area to ourselves for 30 minutes.
I posted a bunch more pics on the site.
