Highlights
We saw an Elk at Fie Top Rd and Split Rail Dr. It walked right in front of my car, looked at us and bolted.
It was foggy/cloudy (as in you're in the clouds so I dont know if that technically foggy) til about 11, then the sun came out and everything warmed up and was a lot more fun.
We spent the day lapping Rock Island until the sun came out and he decided to do Alley Cat and liked it.
We got at lest 30 laps in and skied non stop from rope drop til about 2.
Pics. None of the elk unfortunately.
A few minutes prior to rope drop
Morning fog/clouds
Later at the top the sun came out. Aiden says "Stay Fresh" a la Splatoon....
He was ready to head down Alley Cat. For better or for worse
Our last 8 or 9 laps looked like this.
Video of today's fun. The tune is funky mountain fogdown by leftover salmon
