App Ski Mtn 2-12-16

After realizing Cat was going to be on Holiday rates we made the informed decision to go to App instead, where I paid less for both our all day tix then I would have paid for my half day ticket at Cat. TNX to Old School.
The weather was great, flurries all day with the sun peaking through a couple times. Aiden and I lapped Hard Core mostly and he kept wanting to do terrain park stuff. I am not good at terrain park stuff at all, so I couldnt teach him. I explained that if he wanted to do it that we'd do it the right way and safely, so we took the park safety class and he got private lessons from Manny (who did a great job). Afterwards, for the last 3 hrs or so, we lapped Appal Tops park and he hit flat boxes and small jumps til he was content. This also means that he's a better park skier than I am.
