I arrived in Boone yesterday around 6:00 PM and the roads were great, my plans were for Beech in the morning. Grab a shower and a burger, get back

to the condo and light flurries set in. Get up this morning, about 1" of fresh has fallen overnight and it's still coming down. Change of plans, I don't care for the road up to Beech in my Civic without chains, next best plan Sugar. Get to Sugar about 9 ish, snow still coming down. I have to say this was the best day I have ever had at Sugar, no lift lines and the whole mountain is open. Anyway here's the pics....

I'm not the biggest fan of the overall vibe at Sugar; but weekdays when they have the whole mountain open Sugar freaking rocks it. Pow day is a bonus.

Good on you for gittin sum.

Nothing like that 10-15 min power nap on the lift to keep you going

Sugar's web cam was killing me today... hopefully the weather will be decent next week too...

Whoopdedoo could use a little warm up. It is a bit slick.

Glad you had some fresh snow. It was nice this past weekend with the exception of the sub zero temps in the mornings.

Heading up there on the 22nd, hope it hasn't turned into an ice bowl by then. It's still looked nice and fluffy on Sugar's base cam as of last night.
