I could get anyone to go with me so I went by myself! Stopped in to see the Mike and the Appnet crew and to get a couple of shirts. I'm telling you now, YOU SHOULD HAVE PLAYED HOOKEY!

The weather was clear, a bluebird day and the only way the snow could have been better was if there was fresh powder. The crowds were pretty light in the morning, started picking up after 1. Still not heavy in the afternoon, but I saw some crazy thing attempted (and usually not completed satisfactorily). Ski patrol was kept pretty busy. And so the carnage begins.

Got to ride with Iheartsnow, Barkleydog and his friend Wade. Thanks for the tips on technique. Now if I can only conect my brain to the rest of my body to make it work.

Couple of guys with broken skis

The crowds were still light during lunch.

The Powder Bowl terrain park is looking nice and the Meadows have great new moto type jumps.

New 1/4 pipe at teh bottom of Powder Bowl

Looking up Shawneehaw from the Meadows

The Meadows

Lower Shawneehaw has some nice new whales

Robbins and White Lightning were both light on traffic

A lot more fun in warm weather, isn't it? Hope we get blue skies next weekend.

Made it up to Mnut in time to take the girls out for a little while under the lights. Perfect spring skiing conditions since still in the low 40's even at 9:30pm. Good for Marz Jr's ski buddy since it's her first ski trip of the season.
2023-24: Wolf Creek in Dec, Massanutten in Jan, Feb; GT, Big Sky; Crested Butte; Alta/Snowbird in April.
