We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

Went out again this morning and, wow, what a difference a day makes. The snow was nice and soft. The groomed was good. the fresh and newly made snow was icing on the cake. light was flat early but it cleared to good visibility by around 11:00. No crowds at that time, but that's when I had to leave. It really wasn't even that cold out. We've had snow all day today with more on the way. I can't wait for tomorrow.

It looks great up there right now. If you just showed someone those photos they never would guess that they were preceded by 12 days of base loss and several huge rainstorms. Hopefully, the natural and manmade snow will sontinue to fly until I am up there next weekend!

I was shocked at the amount of snow laid down over night. You could see one place on the edge where a gun hose had laid and the ditch it left when they moved the hose was over a foot deep. some of the snow looked crusty but it wasn't. I kept thinking "oh... I need to adjust for the condition change" yet when I got to what I thought would be crusty it skied like fluffy....maybe it was just my old eyes playing tricks.
