Great layer of dust on top of the groomers to start the day at the shoe . There were even several inches in some of the spots that get the benefit of the wind deposit along the edges of the slopes.99 + knot bumper had some deeper snow as they were left ungroomed!

Rumor of about a foot of natural snow on the ground and close to a 1/2 ft in the last 24 hr . on top of that .The hunt was on . Heck of a good day on the snow. Lee side of the ridge currently has mostly about 1 to 2 ft deep of snow cover in the favored areas

Following the wind the goods were found. Peaks of sunshine and snowshowers through out the day.

Beautiful WVA powder

Certainly not wide open glades like Tahoe and Ninja skills must be administered .

its a treat to live in the south near the beach and get in the car drive about 4 hours and have surface conditions like this!

Wild and Wonderful.

Interesting find.

Here's a short teaser clip .Tough to hold a cam and bob + weave the branches. Tons of fun out there though Best runs of the day were when the camera was at rest in the pocket but certainly always fun to have clips to go back and look at!.

Not sure about next weekend yet Davidski gonna be a last minute call . Can say that conditions today was pretty sweet on every part of the resort from the woods to the north mtn ,south mtn . but favs of the day were the West side mid morn. once the sun softened it just a little

And the creek especially flying eagle with only natural snow including the new glade run with some fun little rocks in there to drop off too
