I can't make it to the summit. Surprise. I'm gonna be at hawks on sat, and sugar sunday for a ski trip I've planned with an outdoor club at my school. oh well, this happens every year.

My schedule is clear - I'll be at the skiNC summit 06! Earlier in the thread there had been some mention of coordinating lodging (to facilitate evening revelry, perhaps?). Is that still in the works, or should I just go ahead and book a room any old place? Looking forward to another great skiNC summit!

Lodging will be in the works, sometime next week I hope.
Anyone know how to get from Beech to Maggie Valley and what's on the way?

194 to 19E to 19 to I26 to I40.
If you dont like curves another way is to go through Banner Elk down 105/220 and take 3 mile hwy to 19E and its the same as #1 after that.
You go right through Asheville and Mars Hill.

Brew pub party and overnight in Asheville then on to Cat in the AM?

DuckRabbit can write it off as a business expense, field research.
